Hi all, While if it finds duplicates its nice I did have a duplicate thing in either Bug 12510 or Bug 124947 (don't remember which) but one of which had a duplicate bug or so it said. Now the difference is/was that the bug that I had posted was using apport hence was automated while the other guy had posted his experience. While it sounded similar was not able to say whether its same or not & obviously all the data collected by apport would have be better. Another query I have is what happens when there is a duplicate of the bug one wants to file & the original is marked private (not yet released to public). So would the system show the private bug or would it allow to post the duplicate also? Lastly, I saw this https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LucasNussbaum/UsertaggingBugsReportedToDebian while these are nice for developers who are able to send patches etc. (no programming skills here) what for guys like me who sometimes comes to know that some of the packages/apps. are synced or merged from debian so should we users also put some tags or what is advisable. If there is some wiki page which explains that then that should be linked to the wiki page mentioned above. Looking forward to your guidance.
