Well, Launchpad allows you to have more than one template per productseries so it would be a matter of having a different .pot file for each Module/Controller and upload all them into Launchpad with the translations split too based on those templates. So you could prepare a tarball like: module-name/module-name.pot module-name/es.po module-name/fr.po ... controller-name/controller-name.pot controller-name/it.po controller-name/es.po ... to feed your translations and strings to translate in Launchpad. After the initial upload you are able to update only some of those modules or controllers.
