Re: How do i automatically run pidgin upon booting up ubuntu gutsy?

Hi Rick.

This list is devoted to launchpad, not ubuntu. You should pose your
question to an ubuntu list.

I happen to know the answer to you question.
1. Start pidgin and every app that you want to run on startup.
2. Choose System > Preferences > Session from the panel menu.
3. Choose the Session Options tab.
4. Choose Remember currently running applications.

I personally have the Automatic... checkbox selected so that my session
restarts exactly as I left it before.
