Sorry I didn't get back to you straight away. I can assure you that I
read all bug reports carefully and don't just sweep over them. When I
looked at the first one, I gave the reporter the opportunity to respond
by setting the status to incomplete, on the slim off-chance that they
might actually be trying to report a problem (this was before I knew the
real origin of the report). I explained this in the initial e-mail I
sent to this list.

You can see that when I came across the second one, I closed it straight
away.

I never just add a generic response to a report without reading it first
and understanding the problem. I just had to make that clear!
