If the channel associated to the project is not on a network
mentioned there, nothing has to be done. Otherwise, you have the
nick you want.

That's the two faces of the karma coin, you can't get one (give
credit) without having the other (people trying to get undeserved
credit).

But here, I think people will get banned from the channel before
they make enough noise to trick the karma allocation...
