In the "ubuntu-docs" project, we've chosen not to use the Answers or Blueprints section of Launchpad in the project configuration. Equally we don't use Launchpad for bugs or translations either (because those are done in the linked packages within the ubuntu project). Obviously this is quite a hacky setup in itself because I don't think it's ideal for us to have bugs/translations in one place and code in another, but as I understand it, it's necessary at the moment. When trying to file a bug or a translation, quite rightly Launchpad points out that the project doesn't use those features and refuses to allow the user to do so. However, in relation to Answers and Blueprints, the same isn't true, these pages both work: https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu-docs/+addquestion https://blueprints.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu-docs/+addspec Is that by conscious choice? It seems to me that if a project chooses not to use those features, they should be unavailable. -- Matthew East http://www.mdke.org gnupg pub 1024D/0E6B06FF
