There have been a few cases recently where many people answered the same question, eg in "Re: [Launchpad-dev] Signing the code of conduct". I realize this is partly because everyone wants to prove they know about crypto, but I wonder if it's also because of high list mail lag? For instance my mail in that thread seemed to be stuck on forster for about three hours, and I still don't have Andrew's mail <https://lists.launchpad.net/launchpad-dev/msg03021.html> from an hour ago.
