I tried a different (indirect) tack on this: Google search for
"http://launchpad.net/gnusim8085"; and it returned the following
links--all from osdir.com:
http://osdir.com/ml/general/2010-03/msg04191.html
[banshee] Allow choosing non-local library locations supported ...

Someone on 2 Mar 2010 updated an rpm .spec file with a source URL from
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/%{name}/%{name}-%{version}.tar.gz
to:
http://launchpad.net/gnusim8085/trunk/1.3.6/+download/gnusim8085-%{version}.tar.gz

likewise the following:
http://osdir.com/ml/general/2010-03/msg04193.html
rpms/gnusim8085/EL-5 .cvsignore, 1.2, 1.3 gnusim8085.spec, 1.3 ...

http://osdir.com/ml/general/2010-03/msg04219.html
rpms/gnusim8085/F-13 .cvsignore, 1.4, 1.5 gnusim8085.spec, 1.5 ...

These seem to be pointing at v1.3.6 so maybe the folks who downloaded
old versions are specifically choosing v1.3.5 when they open the PPA?

Best wishes,

Richard
