It's because you're trying to upload to Ubuntu, rather than your PPA.  Check
your dput config / command line.

You're also uploading a different orig tarball than the one in Ubuntu, it's
best not to do that.



Its because of the second reason that Julian stated (JFYI in case if you are trying to sync a package from debian archive its better you build the package in a local pbuilder or sbuild and request a fakesync)
