You should probably read about Debian packaging guidelines.  It would 
appear that your error occurs because you did not supply an email in 
your changelog correctly.

The email you supply also needs to have a signing key associated with it 
for authentication with Launchpad.  I'm sure Launchpad has the 
appropriate tutorials for getting started.
