Re: [Question #247889]: How to make accessibility work
Question #247889 on LightDM GTK+ Greeter changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/lightdm-gtk-greeter/+question/247889
Status: Expired => Open
Kyle is still having a problem:
Yes, the Unity greeter can start Orca in the latest Ubuntu. However, it
fails to build on Arch, and isn't in the official repos.
I'm looking at using Lightdm in Sonar Linux
http://sonargnulinux.com/
which is based on Manjaro, but needs a greeter that can start Orca,
especially for an upcoming MATE spin, where gdm will pull in too many
dependencies from GNOME. At this point, this gtk greeter seems to have
the most potential to give a talking login screen out of the box. Thanks
for any help.
