It works fine with gdm! after switching to gdm from lightdm, I dont need
to revive the login screen with a mouse click. It happens to me as I am
using an external monitor for display purpose but not in other laptops
with only its primary display as I have tested.

  Login screen needs a click to get alive, otherwise remains black.

  After booting, the first screen appears black, then I need to make a click with mouse to call the login screen. and it happens when I lock the screen, it goes blank.
