I'm currently working on a thin client project and i'm kind of stuck

Is there a way to accept a user/password in the greeter and pass them to be authenticated externally via custom service so it will get the information to populate guest user session with the typed users configurations?

Since it is a thin client, i don't want to save users configuration/session or create a new environment for each user that may use the client
