Folks here is what Leankit folks said about the integration with Launchpad.

"We are actually very familiar with Canonical and Launchpad as both are
customers of ours. If you follow this link you can actually see a blog
post by Launchpad about using LeanKit:

Both companies integrate with us using our API. And Launchpad has
actually written and published a PHP integration between our product and
theirs."
