1st step is to get a pointer to the "good" manifest to android team
somehow. At best submit the updated manifest through gerrit into our tip
origen build (botao can probably help here). From there, we can review
and decide if a push to -release branch and respin is feasible.

Also, a summary of goodies that we gain by taking the risk would make
things easier.

  Origen build includes out of date kernel

Status in Linaro Android:
  New

Bug description:
  The landing team manifest is more stable and includes more features
  than the manifest that is currently used for the Origen Android build.

  Also the kernel that the  manifest points to is quite out of date, the
  landing team kernel should be used instead.
