Yes, I received email from Angus about this update in the morning of
23rd August 2011. I have discussed this with Sachin Kamat who works in
Samsung landing team, and the decision is due to we don't have time to
take these changes effect for 11.08 release, this update will be moved
to 11.09 milestone.

Angus told me some improvement for his and his team's updates, and they
are good. The LCD screen even can work partly. I will start to integrate
them as soon as possible.

Title:
  Origen build includes out of date kernel

Status in Linaro Android:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  The landing team manifest is more stable and includes more features
  than the manifest that is currently used for the Origen Android build.

  Also the kernel that the  manifest points to is quite out of date, the
  landing team kernel should be used instead.
