Can confirm behavior pointed by comment #11 with 11.08 RC hwpack and
nano image.

  Softreboot does not reboot the system

Status in Linaro Samsung Landing Team Project:

Bug description:
  Softreboot (using reboot command) hangs the system while trying to reboot it . 
  Sytem displays the below messages and hangs off until a hard reset is made.

  Broadcast message from root@linaro
          (/dev/ttySAC1) at 0:45 ...

  The system is going down for reboot NOW!
  root@linaro:~# init: ssh main process (1084) terminated with status 255

  init: auto-serial-console main process (1252) killed by TERM signal
  init: tty2 main process (1258) killed by TERM signal

  init: tty6 main process (1261) killed by TERM signal
  init: cron main process (1268) killed by TERM signal
  init: openvt main process (1313) killed by TERM signal
  init: plymouth-upstart-bridge main process (1353) terminated with status 1
  [ OK ]ing all remaining processes to terminate...        
  [ OK ] processes ended within 1 seconds....
