[Bug 892837] Re: Accelerated graphics fails to come up on staging-panda

 

There should be no differences in result coming from plugging in a
different hdmi cable, it suggests cable quality / connectivity issue.

There are now different hdmi implementations in 3.1 based and tracking
based kernels.  That's due to hdmi patches landing upstream and my
performing a major adaptation to keep all that working.  That you're
reporting both 3.1 and tracking both act in the same broken way suggests
what you need to get this symptom is specific to your side somehow and
is independent of the kernel.
