OK so it's happening because the packaging files are not the same names
between the two branches (fixes and master).  This is actually the first
time it's happened, which is surprising.

I've added a pull request to the packaging stored in git at github for
the mythtv project.  Once it's fixed there this should be resolved for
future builds.
