Is there documentation available on how to manually setup the input
connections via a text file or direct SQL manipulation one does not have
the repeat the connection procedure fore each tuner (e.g. I have 4
connected to the same multiswitch - so same signal).

  Input connections take 80 seconds to store

Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:
  New

Bug description:
  I have about 30 video sources and 4 DVB-S tuners plus 2 DVB-T tuners.
  When setting up the input connections, that time taken to store each input connection takes progressive longer. By the time you get the the 20th one, it takes an astonishing 80 seconds to return to the input connections manual after clicking Finish.
  As I have to do about 100 input connections (~25 for each tuner), this results in the need to sit and wait one whole day to complete the backend configuration.
