[Bug 809690] Re: Unable to run Mythmetadatalookup

 

Not currently.  It's possible to be solved one of two ways that I see:

1) Install oursql (not at all packaged yet for Debian/Ubuntu)
2) Update to python-mysqldb 1.2.3.

I think <2> will be easier to accomplish.  When <2> is fixed, the new
package will end up in 11.10 and we'll have to see how it can be
backported to earlier versions.

Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  I am unable to run the following from the console, 'Mythmetadatalookup
  --refresh-all'

  This is as per the following Mythtv Wiki page
  http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Enhancing_Recordings_with_Metadata_Lookup.

  
  I am currently running Mythtv Trunk on Mythbuntu 1104

  The error is:
  The subdirectory "tmdb" containing the modules tmdb_api.py (v0.1.3 or greater), tmdb_ui.py,
  tmdb_exceptions.py must have been installed with the MythTV python bindings.
  Error:(No viable database module found.)
