Just tried it on my Ubuntu 10.04 installation (also 64 bit) and
strangely there I see no problems with the "Recent Project" option, it
just works. With  both OpenShot 1.3.1 and 1.4.0-alpha. Sorry I have no
screen-cast.

  Impossible to change the project with  the action Recent project

Bug description:
  Hi, 
   I have a bug not only on the 1.4.0alpha but also on the 1.3.0 installed on a Natty 11.04 64 bits by PPA when I 'am using a recent project.

  Impossible to change the project. I have always the last/first project
  open. When I open a project, it is perfect.
