[Bug 881760] Re: constant crashes when initating playback on Arch x64
Yes, my system appears to have all the dependencies listed (at least the
Arch equivalents) installed. For reference, here is a link to the
official Arch package entry for Openshot, which shows the dependencies
considered required and optional:

Title:
constant crashes when initating playback on Arch x64
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
New
Bug description:
I recently did a ~7 minute long photo slideshow in Openshot, and
experience constant program crashes while editing. I could open the
project and preview the video (or a portion of it) once. After
stopping the preview and making an edit, I would then either manually
move the position cursor by double-clicking on the timeline and then
start playback using the spacebar, or just push play to resume the
preview from where I left off. Generally speaking, crashes occurred
whenever I tried to initiate playback the 2nd time (i.e. after making
an edit). This seemed to get worse as I added more media to the video
project.
Openshot 1.4.0
Arch Linux x64
installed via official repositories
attaching the output of glxinfo in case the crashes are graphics card related.
tried to run the debug script but got a syntax error in line 32
