[Bug 881761] Re: video export to dvd progress bar broken
Hi,
I have seen the same effect on my Linux Mint /debian 64bit system using Openshot 1.4.0-1 and MLT 0.7.4.
However, the problem seems to appear only when an existing Openshot project is loaded and then I try to immedately export the video. It looks like some synchonization problems with the tracks and timeline. After I preview and/or move the cursor to the end of the tracks the exports works as expected, i.e. shows the progress bar and finishes correctly.
I did not try the MLT 0.7.6 version yet, but this may be some additional
information.

Title:
video export to dvd progress bar broken
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
New
Bug description:
Recently I exported my video project to "dvd" format from openshot.
The first 2 or 3 times I did this the encoder dialog worked as
expected. However, after making some further edits and trying to
export again, the progress bar in the encode window either stopped
moving at ~ 11% or did not start at all. Meanwhile the video was
being encoded successfully, but I had no indication from the UI as to
when it would be finished.
It's not clear what triggered the loss of functionality, but
restarting openshot/reopening the project did not resolve it.
I am running Gnome 3.2, so perhaps the issue is related to the window
manager? I also experienced problems with menu buttons disappearing
from view until I clicked on them.
Openshot 1.4.0
Arch Linux x64 with Gnome 3.2
installed via official repositories
