[Bug 892803] Re: Import of multiple files via "Open with" from KDE file manager crashes OpenShot
Hi Cenwen,
that's not the point. If I select multiple files with completely
different filenames than they are imported as individual files without
further request. In this case everything is fine and works as expected.
My problem only occurs in cases where OpenShot interprets multiple
selected files as sequence. In this case the dialogue pops up but not
only once but automatically again and again until the memory of your
system is filled up completely. There is no chance to stop this even by
pressing on of the buttons. And this is not normal behaviour.
Regards
Oliver

Title:
Import of multiple files via "Open with" from KDE file manager crashes
OpenShot
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
New
Bug description:
1) Kubuntu 11.10, KDE 4.7.2, Kernel 3.0.0-12-generic, Dolphin 1.7
2) OpenShot installed via PPA
2) OpenShot version 1.4.0
When I try to import multiple files to a project via the option "Open
with" out of a KDE file manager like Dolphin or Konqueror and OpenShot
seems to detect a image sequence then it infinitely opens dialogue
boxes with the question if the image shall be imported as sequence.
The only way to stop this is to kill the process.
