Hi Thomas! Thanks for your quick reply... I have remote mythfrontend in
Linux Mint Debian Edition XFCE4, by default it does not write
mythfrontend.log file but I started frontend with --logfile option and I
succeeded to get one (attached).

  0.24.1 mythtv-backend of Mythbuntu repos. It used to work but latest
  update messed things...

  Wireshark trace attached from frontend PC (192.168.255.2), be IP is
  192.168.255.5.
