Looking at the log, it shows the below info. Do you have the correct
info in mysql.txt? Can you connect to the mysql database from the
command prompt?

  0.24.1 mythtv-backend of Mythbuntu repos. It used to work but latest
  update messed things...

  Wireshark trace attached from frontend PC (192.168.255.2), be IP is
  192.168.255.5.
