Could you run Blender in a console specifying his path ? 
What give you this command ? locate blender

  Cannot use animated titles

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
  When I try to use animated titles it gives me an error about Blenders
  location even though I have specified where the blender executable is
  in the preferences.
