This is the output of the terminal when I give the comand "run
openshot.py":

Starting program: /usr/bin/python openshot.py
[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled]
/usr/bin/python: can't open file 'openshot.py': [Errno 2] No such file or directory
[Inferior 1 (process 2972) exited with code 02]

so I guess I miss that file, right?

  Installation Method: Ubuntu Software Center
  Version: 1.4.0

  Hi, I'm italian so I ask sorry if i make some mistakes with the
  english.

  This is the problem: I add a simple animation, like "reduce", to an
  image into the timeline then I press play. What I see is a complete
  black screen instead of the image with its effect and after the
  preview the software crashes imediately. This happens always.
