Howdy, and thank you for helping to improve Mythbuntu by opening this
ticket.  Could you please verify the disk works great with the same
drive using external applications (mplayer or vlc)?  If so, please
capture a new frontend log with "-v playback" on the frontend command
line and attach it here.  Thank you!

Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:

Bug description:
  Pixar Cars 2 DVD playback hangs and jumps occasionally with mythDVD. I
  have Mythbuntu 10.04 + mythtv 0.24.1 from Mythbuntu repos (latest
  updates in use). It seems, that css-encrypted Disney DVD's are
  problematic for Internal player or libdvdcss2 module itself (?).
