Thanks for the bug report.  However, it seems this problem is caused by
MLT trying to load a very large XML file (with lots of clips and
transitions), and the freeze is caused by MLT.  This will likely be
addressed when we introduce our own video editing backend, but until
then, the problem is with MLT and not OpenShot.  Because we can't fix
this in our source code, I'm marking this ticket as "Invalid".  Thanks!

Title:
  When I open my project in OpenShot computer freezes

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I have 96 videos ( mp4,avi,movs ) and 450 pictures in my project. Also
  my project has 1 mp3 audio file cloned several times along the audio
  time line....

  When I re-open my project computer memory grows until maximum and the
  computer finally freezes.

  My computer is a Laptop with 4Gb memory and a i5 CPU using Ubuntu
  11.04. When I used Ubuntu 10.10 the computer also freezes opening the
  project.
