You probably just need to look at your "Software Sources", and try and
figure out which one might contain FFmpeg or Libav, remove it, and then
run "Update Manager".

Bug description:
  Hello!!

  The new version OpenShot 1.4.1 installed from those PPA
  "ppa:openshot.developers/ppa" and "ppa:jonoomph/openshot-edge" doesn't
  start. But also, the old version 1.4.0 from the Ubuntu Software Center
  also doesn't start.

  I'm in Ubuntu 11.10, Oneiric.
