Bug description:
  Ubuntu 11.10
version 1.4.0 installed with installer downloaded from launchpad

if i save an empty project with just a tag in timeline in my folder "USER-NAME" which is root for pictures, videos etc and then try to open, programm freezes and ask me to force close it.
i think it will helps you.. when i save this project in desktop it opens fine.

  steps to generate this:
  1. create any new project
  2. do a tag in timeline
  3. save it in personal folder (the preset)
  4. close the program and open the .osp file from there
  5. the program freezes to me
