[Bug 936084] Re: Video is still running and doesn't respond to ruler under video preview or timeline
Run this command in the terminal:
melt filename.avi -consumer xml
and look for output similar to this:
<property name="seekable">0</property>
If you see this then it means MLT does not support seeking for your
file(s). The only way around it would be to transcode your files to
another format.

Bug description:
I have project with one video (AVI, MPEG4, MP3) placed in Tack 1 (Track 2 is empty). Immediately after opening project video SILENTLY start playing in Preview. Now if i change position in timeline or ruler under video preview and press play, it always start palying from the beginning (including sound). It never start playig from selected time.
I tried to create new project from scratch but without success. Currently Openshot is useless for me, I can't work with it.
Ubuntu 11.10, Openshot 1.4.0 installed from repository
