[Bug 946159] Re: Cropped clip is drifting
Please take a look at this section of the manual:
http://openshotusers.com/help/1.3/en_GB/ar01s13.html#sect2_53
You are not 'cropping' the video, you are adjusting it's layout
position. It drifts to the centre because you have most likely set the Y
position to 30% on the 'Start of Clip' keyframe, if the 'end of clip'
keyframe is set to 0% then you are telling it to move from 30% to 0%
from the start to the end.

Title:
Cropped clip is drifting
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
Invalid
Bug description:
When I crop a clip it is driftig in the preview as well as in the
exported result. It starts in the upper right corner and drifts to the
center slowly over time.
This is what I do:
-Import an avi to the project files
- Drag and drop it to the upper track
- Right-click the clip on the track and choose "properties"
- Click on tab "Layout"
- Change Height to 60%
- Change y to 30%
- Click apply
- Click the play/export button
(The same applies if I try to use an image as transparent logo)
I use openshot 1.4.2 installed via PPA on Ubuntu 10.04.
