Thanks a lot Jonathan,

In fact, I only modified the previous earthmap with new textures. The node editor stuff in Blender allows to have the night map with city lights and the day lights ;-). This looks great.
I found this tutorial amazing, so come the idea to put it in openshot. I only add the possibility to hide/show clouds. So now, I understand much better your python file in interaction with blender for future titling perhaps :-)

  I modified the earth map animated title to make a second version. The result is more photo realistic, and is base on thiis work http://www.blenderguru.com/videos/create-a-realistic-earth. When the earth is rotating, you can see the nightlights of the town .
