[Bug 975960] Re: Chroma Key effect only works for part of the video
Could you re-done the same operation running openshot in a console and
copy/paste the output ? I don't know if it can help us but we know
never.
Another thing could be to use gdb (if you feel able to do that, of
course) See here :

What PPA have you used ? the stable or the svn ?

Title:
Chroma Key effect only works for part of the video
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
New
Bug description:
I have been trying to use the Chroma Key effect on a project of approximately 6 minutes in length. The effect works beautifully on the first part of the video, and then suddenly stops working around 4m10s. I tried using the razor tool to cut the video into smaller parts but it still does not work. I have tried removing and re-adding the video and the effect to each of the parts without success. I also used OpenShot to encode to cut the source video in half and re-encode the second part only, but this new shorter video has exactly the same problem.
Expermenting in a new project it seems that the chroma key effect only works if the video is less than 4:10 in length.
1) I am using Ubuntu 11.10
2) Installed via ubuntu software centre and then updated via PPA
3) Currently on 1.4.2 after updating from 1.4.1. Problem occured on both.
