This happens to me too, has always done since I started using OpenShot,
and up to now with 1.4.2 and a recent MLT (think it's 0.7.6, but I don't
have it with me now). At least with mp4 and avi, don't use much else.

  Razor tool doesn't always cut

Bug description:
  Sometimes the cut tool doesn't cut a clip first time.  You have to
  move the razor left or right a few pixels and try again.

  openshot 1.4.0-1 from PPA on 10.04 LTS lucid.
