[Bug 974572] Re: Some PNG Frames Render Black or With Checksum Errors

Hi Andy,

I updated MLT as you suggested. Great news, there were no black frames
in my latest set of PNG files. Thanks very much for the suggestion.
However, VirtualDub still indicates that the png files have bad
checksums. I have a workaround for this using Irfanview.

Thanks,
Roland

Title:
Some PNG Frames Render Black or With Checksum Errors

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
I am running Openshot 1.4.2 in Mint Linux, which is running inside of
VirtualBox. I am exporting the video as individual frames to be
compressed elsewhere. Some PNG frames render black or with checksum
errors. This behavior isn't consistent. Sometimes all of the frames
appear to render properly, yet they still have checksum errors. There
were black frames in Openshot 1.4.0, but there appear to be less in
1.4.2. As a work-around, I am able to use Irfanview to remove the
checksum errors from each of the PNG files.

  Notes:
I installed the 1.4.2 .deb version

I render to the PNG frames because the videos I was previously
creating from OpenShot also had the black/skipped frames.
