Title:
Clips with equal file names from different folders get unique
thumbnails
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
New
Bug description:
OS: Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin)
OpenShot: 1.4.2-1 (from ubuntu repositories)
Importing two files
/directory1/part.mpg
/directory2/part.mpg
these two files get the same thumbnails in OpenShot (yes, even if the
content differs).
I guess it's because OpenShot only compares the filename, but not the
file identity/path.
It leads to problems as it's hard to identify a file that's not distinguishable in the UI anymore.
When cutting a movie that's devided to more than one DVD for size reasons, where every DVD has identical file names for the movie clips, I currently rename the files of the second DVD before importing as a workaround; but that should not be necessary.
This seems to be a similar issue like https://bugs.launchpad.net/openshot/+bug/922207 (but it's not the same).
