[Bug 1019983] Re: svg text render error
Hi there, again :)
This is a nearest bug behaving similiar to what I expirence too, so I
comment there in order to not create new bug.
The problem is that I'ev created new title in Inkscape, and when it was
just created a logo+text .SVG file - it's ok.
But after I add it to OpenShot with "add title" function, some strange
whitebox appeared over first line of text and it persist now when I'm
opening the same .SVG in other editors or viewers. So it seems that
OpenShot had put this whitebox.
Can this still be OpenShot issue, say, it's doing some changes to
imported .SVG in order to make text on the title editable or such?

Title:
svg text render error
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
Confirmed
Bug description:
1) Ubuntu 12.04
2) OpenShot 1.4.0
3) dpkg -s libmlt
Package `libmlt' is not installed and no info is available.
The attached video shows the bug, white boxes instead of text (will
attach original svg file created with inkscape as well). The first
three seconds show the version of the directly imported svg file in
openshot and the second part shows how it looks when I export it to
png first and then import it.
