Title:
trouble with long videos
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
New
Bug description:
I have a long video. (About an hour in length). Openshot does not
appreciate this.
The underlying problem appears to be that openshot is using up all of
my available ram (whenever I have the project open). This results in
stability and performance problems.
This happens in Version 1.2.2 (via PPA), The "trunk?" version from bzr
simply hangs attempting to load the file.
What I'd like is for openshot to avoid using as much memory. Another
option would be if I could somehow split my existing project into
several smaller projects, but I'm not see a good way to do this.
