[Bug 1059775] Re: Crash using version 1.4.3 mmap() failed: Cannot allocate memory

This morning I was editing a video. I made one cut at the end, added a
fade-out, previewed the fade, and when it reached the end of the video,
the preview stopped, as expected, but it also cause Openshot to go
unresponsive. The Terminal says nothing about it.

Title:
  Crash using version 1.4.3 mmap() failed: Cannot allocate memory

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  OS:  Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit
  Installation method: updated via Openshot PPA
  Openshot:  1.4.3-1
  libmlt version:  0.7.6+git20120204-2

  Was using Openshot when it became unresponsive after I clicked the
  preview play button. Here's what the Terminal spit out:

  on_tlbPlay_clicked called with self.GtkToolButton
  mmap() failed: Cannot allocate memory
  mmap() failed: Cannot allocate memory

  ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1018:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
  [consumer sdl] SDL failed to open audio: No available audio device

  I've run into this a couple of times today. I can't reproduce it on-
  command. It seems to happen randomly, and rarely. It was working
  fine while I made several cuts, and then it decided to freeze up.
