[Bug 1080167] Re: Whenever adding any files to a project, Open Shot says it doesn't support that file type

 

The link you provided only applies to video files, and as I explained in
the bug report, I even get that message when trying to add a .wav, or a
.jpg, or a .png, not just video files.  Video files which otherwise play
fine everywhere else, by the way.  But nevertheless, it's popping up the
message on all files, not just video files.

Bug description:
  Using Ubuntu 12.04 and Open Shot 1.4.3.  Whenever adding any files to
  a project, whether it be a video file, a .wav file, or even a .png or
  .jpg, Open Shot pops up a window saying that it doesn't support that
  file format.
