[Bug 1080167] Re: Whenever adding any files to a project, Open Shot says it doesn't support that file type
The instructions are valid for all file types. That is the only way to
verify file support, whether they play in something like Totem or
another player doesn't help, as OpenShot uses libav & melt to provide
file support.

Bug description:
Using Ubuntu 12.04 and Open Shot 1.4.3. Whenever adding any files to
a project, whether it be a video file, a .wav file, or even a .png or
.jpg, Open Shot pops up a window saying that it doesn't support that
file format.
