For those suffering from this issue - while it isn't fixed, there is a
workaround (I tested it on Xubuntu 12.04.1): press the menu button on
gnome-do gui, then navigate using up and down arrows on the keyboard.

  Can't access setting in xfce

  Xubuntu 12.10

  Menu "About Do" "Preferences" "Donate" "Quit" shows behind Gnome-Do
  window and I can't click on any item. So I can't access settings
  window.
