[Bug 1167938] Re: MythGallery fails to scale images.
1) Tell us what version of mythtv you are using (full version please)
2) Attach a screenshot of the image not scaling (since this is a visual issue)
3) Attach the image that is not scaling
4) Tell us what theme you are using
5) Attach the mythtv frontend logs from when you viewed the image that didn't scale.
Scaling works fine for me. I attempted this with my frontend on my
1920x1080 TV as well as my 1366x768 laptop using MythTV 0.26
(v0.26.0-138-g69cd78b), the Mythbuntu theme, and the 2 test images (one
16:9, the other 16:10) from the following links.

Marking invalid as I cannot reproduce.
Please attach the requested info. It would appear to be an issue with
your setup somehow, as in my multiple tests here it works. If this is
really an issue, I'd like to see why it breaks in your situation
(despite you being a bit of a dick)

Title:
MythGallery fails to scale images.
Status in Mythbuntu, Ubuntu derivative focused upon MythTV:
Invalid
Bug description:
How to reproduce:
1. Place image whose dimensions are larger than the screen in a
subdirectory of the configured images directory.
2. Use MythTV front end to view image.
3. Only part of the image is displayed as it is too large to fit on
the screen and the default viewer has not scaled it to fit on screen.
4. User now throws down remote control and powers off the box at the
mains in complete disgust at the *TRULY EPIC* lameness of the coding
in MythGallery.
Sorry this is absolutely pathetic. It's 2013 and this sort of rubbish
still plagues desktop Linux. Does no one actually test these features
? Isn't it absolutely blindingly obvious that the default behaviour
of an "image viewer" on a "set top box" application should be to
bloody well scale the image to fill the available space (either scale
it up or scale it down) ?
Words fail me. They really do.
