[Bug 1192397] Re: Closes without saving randomly and frequently
Hi,
I've finally installed this week me too Manjaro Linux (0.8.6) with LXDE enviromment for having an system based on Arch. There are a long time that I would have a system like this to test the last version of software (and specially Openshot) and see like this before others systems problems that we could meet. And she is incredible fast. What pleasure.
Even I 've installed Openshot, i don't have the time to test it. But I could be able to see where a issue could be on it.
Hovewer, you should first update this one to the next snapshot
(i.e.0.8.6) because she is not expented of bugs. I am not sure how to
make that with Pacman but you could use package mananger for this task.
And try again. I've had a lot of problems with (I was not alone at first
look) and the only solution for us was to re-install with the last
snapshot.

Title:
Closes without saving randomly and frequently
Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
New
Bug description:
I am running Manjaro Linux (XFCE Edition) and was creating a simple
image slideshow. I noticed that simple tasks like dragging the
playhead or making a new title just made the application crash without
warning, and the changes were not saved. Moreover, if creating a title
didn't cause the application to quit, a new title was never actually
created. It is very frustrating to create a project with OpenShot.
Please take this into consideration as soon as possible. Thank you.
OS: Manjaro Linux 0.8.5
Installation Method: Manjaro Repository via Pacman package manager
Openshot version: 1.4.3
Melt version: 0.9.0
Running your debug.py resulted in an empty openshot.debug
