[Bug 1223590] Re: How to join clips to move them together

It would be very nice to have a way to join clips in the editor, so if
you arrange, say, twenty clips into a sequence and you want to apply
some effect to all of them, or move them together to a different
position in the timeline, you don't have to do each clip one at a time.
We have the razor tool to make one clip into many; what we're looking
for is a corresponding splice tool to join multiple clips into one.
Maybe it could work by ctrl/clicking or shift/clicking to select the
desired clips, and then clicking the "splice" button. The need for this
function seems fairly intuitive, though it's more of a feature request
than a bug report.
