[Bug 1244962] Re: Can't export a video without immediately crashing

Pay attention there is abug affecting h264 encoding library (libh264) if you're using Ubuntu 13.10 adn you're trying to export to h264 formats (defautl for youtube hd etc) - this lib is used by openshot, but not part of Openshot). The issue is solved now, check the follwing:

Title:
Can't export a video without immediately crashing

Status in OpenShot Video Editor:
  New

Bug description:
I use Openshot to crop videos into 5-9 second so I can export them to
convert them into image sequences. Just yesterday [October 24, 2013] I
tried exporting a clip and it immediately crashed, as if someone just
x-ed out the program. I lost all my work and it did not export the
video clip. Any suggestions? [btw i'm not very techy so if you could
make your answer in layman's terms]
